In Ability to cut trailing zeroes from field value being displayed (in 2011 year) the functionality was developed, that allowed strip trailing zeros allow to transform 43.000 into 43. Unfortunately the numbers like 43.20300 (zero in the middle) still retain their zeros.
Solution
Use different regular expression for 0 removal.
