Here are 2 things I've found:
- click on "new section", type a name, click on "Points to Section" icon, select a section and validate it: the new section form have been reset (this only happens on new sections, when they are already created the problem doesn't occurs)
- when you have defined a shortcut for a section, navigate somewhere else in admin, ex. displaying community page, and then click in left menu on the section with shortcut : first click will display in right pane the shorcut place, a second clic on the section will display the inner section itself
